I have spent an enormous amount of time learning the ins and outs of Word Press. This is one powerful program. I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There is a huge support network for this Software. The problem I have is finding what I want because I don’t know the correct terminology. The other day I found a plugin that lets you use Word Press as an article submission blog. Different people can log in and post. They just don’t have access to the key things in your blog. It is kind of like giving out a user account in Windows. Each user can have different permissions that limits what they can do. I liked this for one of my sites. I spent hours trying to get the plugin to work with my theme. I was frustrated and even sought the help of a professional to do this for me. I then ran across a blog that was doing what I wanted without the plugin. I was amazed. I was searching the internet for a article submission plugin and the answer was an article directory. The 2 words are similar but very different. Word Press has a feature built in to it to allow multiple users to access the same blog. I found out how to use this feature and now my new site has the power to let multiple users post. The key here to me is that I think I was looking to find a shortcut via using a plugin, while I should have just been learning a little more about how WordPress works. So, learn from my mistakes and just try to learn a little more about WordPress each day and stop spending too much time looking for the shortcut.
